Answers:
1. The message that President Obama is trying to get across is that we are going to have many changes in the future. That we are going to come together as a whole and work hard to get our selves out of this crisis that we are in. He plans to make changes in health care and in the schools.
2. The speech was delivered with only one stutter and great eye contact. He paused for the applause for an appropriate amount of time and kept it rolling along. He had his speech memorized and if he forgot any part of it it wasn't noticed by the way he flowed so gracefully through it.
3. In my opinion I would give this speech an 8. Bush couldn't speak any better than a five year old and its refreshing to have a well spoken president who is well spoken and inspiring and makes speeches worthy of quoting.
4. I don't have the book yet so I am going to take a guess at this. I would say no. He spoke clear English and enunciated his words. He also did not speak over the clapping and there were no echos or shouting out from the audience.
5. I am not a professional speaker and I feel like I wouldn't be able add or take away anything from something as serious as an inauguration speech. I think he got his point across and gave hope to many Americans

Eventhought I agree with your analysis of the president's Inaugural Speech, the comparism of ex-president Bush to a five years old in any regard is a complete misrepresentation. Yes he made mistakes as the commander-in-chief of the USA some of which lead to the current state of affairs but let us not forget that most of the mistake were made in good faith whilst protecting the homeland.
